Kara earned a Bachelor of Science in human biology from Indiana University, with a concentration in human health and disease and psychology. She began her career in health care working at a senior living community for those with developmental disabilities. She is a licensed health facility administrator, certified dementia professional, co-founder of Chi Delta Phi at Indiana University, and serves alongside many local outreach service organizations.
Associate Executive Director
Molly graduated summa cum laude from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Health Care. While attending UWEC, she served on the executive boards of the American College of Health Care Administrators chapter and the Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association team. Prior to joining The Barrington of Carmel team in June 2021, she worked at The Towne House, another BHI Senior Living community. She is a licensed health facility administrator and qualified memory care professional.
Director of Sales and Marketing
Steve joined BHI Senior Living, the parent company of The Barrington of Carmel, in February of 2020, then came to The Barrington as the Sales and Marketing Director in July of 2020.
Prior to joining BHI, Steve worked for 15 years as Director of Operations at Tangram, an organization that serves individuals with disabilities. There he was responsible for the overall management of the strategic and operational activities, corporate disability consulting and was also responsible for the long-term growth of the organization.
Director of Dining Services
Ryan has 10 years of experience in Dining Services in health care communities, as well as five years working in restaurants and catering. He has been the Dining Services Director at Independent and Assisted Living communities in both Colorado and Indiana. His background is in Culinary Arts, graduating with an associate degree from Mountain State University in Beckley, WV. He is a founding member of the AMS Foundation and spends much of his time outside of The Barrington doing charity work.
Nikki joined The Barrington of Carmel sales team in April 2014, bringing with her over four years of experience in the hospitality industry. She transitioned into the Lifestyles department in September of 2017. She enjoys finding creative ways to keep people actively engaged within the community.
Director of Plant Operations
Ryan joined The Barrington of Carmel team in March 2015, bringing with him over 13 years of experience in the health care industry. In the past, he’s managed four senior housing communities in the Indianapolis area. He started his career as an aviation mechanic and holds a degree in aviation technology. His many years of management experience make him an invaluable asset to The Barrington team.
